These quarterly sales include fine wine, port, rare whisky, other spirits and collectable beers.

Our Winter sale on the 6th of February includes the following to help keep out the cold.

We have a large entry once again for this auction. In the Whisky and Spirits section we have some older and some modern both for collecting and consuming. We have a Suntory Royal Whisky from Japan, Haig Gold label, Dimple, Caermory 21 yr old, Jura, Glenfiddich, Chivas Royal Salute, Jack Daniels, Bells, Famous Grouse Teachers and many others.

We continue to attract fine cognacs including Martell & Remy Martin XO, Hine Antique Tres Vieille in ltd edition Carafe Cristal and bottles of Hennessy & Dupeyron. This time we also have the remaining contents of a shop including larger & smaller bottles of spirits, gins, Sambuca, Tequila, Rums, Pimms, Southern Comfort etc.

This is followed by Ports & Dessert wines. We have some good vintages again with a case of Delaforce 1970, Taylors 1970, Dows 1963 & 1970. Also found in a cellar were some 1955 ports with no labels and in another some 1952 and 1906 Madeira wines. Keeping up the range we have sweet wines from Sauternes, Setubal Superior 1966 from Portugal and Cavendish fortified wine from 1949.

Also included are some Bass Kings ale 1902 and various bottles of Bass Princes ale from 1929 and other celebration ales.

Both vintage and younger champagnes are offered including some vintage Dom Perignon 1996, Moet Dry Imperial 1976, Taittinger 1970 as well as younger bottles from Bollinger, Taittinger, Pop, Pol Roger, Lanson and others.

For appreciating at dinner or in front of a nice warm fire, we have a particularly large entry of wines again with many by the case including many French classics, Italian, Spanish, German, American, South African, Australian and others. We have a range of younger and older wines from vin de table to top clarets and Burgundy for you to browse. To tempt you in we have plenty from some well rated years like some Chateau Leoville Barton and Talbot 2001, various Saint Emilion/Saint Julien/Margaux/Pomerol/Chateauneuf du Pape wines and other Bordeaux & Rhone reds, white Burgundy, Chablis & Rhone’s, Chianti, Rioja and many more. We have some older bottlings here too including 1972 Chateau Lafitte Rothschild Pauillac but the majority of lots are younger cases  from a number of private cellars and house clearances. We also have a large consignment of red and white 2011 wines salvaged following accident damage including Montgravet, Chasseur and Le Bel Ange.

Not to forget the Eurocave wine store, a decanting cradle and other collectables and miniatures.

Previous sales have included the remaining stocks following closure of businesses, restaurants, public houses, catering companies etc. We also receive many entries from private cellars, deceased estates and due to relocation.

We invite entries of vintage and classic wines and spirits as well as more everyday drinks and we are happy to give free sales value advice. We can often do this from an emailed photograph or you can bring down to us.
