This Lot was compiled and used by Douglas Sidney Arundel McDougall, author of Goose Fever: The Diaries of an Amateur Wildfowler 1933 - 1975; 8 Bore Guns and Their Cartridges; etc. who also acquired and modified the oak and leather cartridge magazine to carry 8 bore cartridges, with the loads used specified within the case, together with an eclectic range of brass cased cartridges loaded to his own specifications with both lead and Bismuth shot, factory loaded cartridges, a copy of the Tolley catalogue, and copies of various of his books, the copy of Goose Fever signed by his son, from whom the Vendor purchased this collection.
