Our Spring Sale includes a good range of entries once again from a number of cellars, business closure and private entries.

Whisky & Spirits: We are pleased to offer some more MACALLAN 18 year old Whisky following recent success at previous sales with a 1970 and a 1978. Also we have more of the Privately bottled Oban 24 yr. old if you missed out last time. There are a number of older bottlings of discontinued single malts and blends as well as regular favourites like Glenlivet, Johnnie Walker & Chivas Regal on offer. There is a Booth’s Gin with a Health & Hygiene Certificate dated 1950, old bottlings of Smirnoff Vodka circa 1960’s,  a Japanese Nikka Gold & Gold Whisky with Samurai armour circa 1970, Mount Gay rum bottled circa 1970’s, A rare Malts Royal Lochnagar 23 yr. old, An Ardbeg Ultimate and more.

We also have a number of Cognacs from Hennessy, Remy Martin, Courvoisier, Martell and other Brandy and Aquavits.

There are a number of miniatures from around the world and some adverting Figures too.

Beers, Ale & Cider: This time we have a range of remaining retail stock of Ciders, Perry & Beer as well as Collectable Celebration Ales.

Ports and Dessert Wines: A good selection of older and more recent vintages are included this time, such as a Case of Warre’s 1980, a few bottles of Gonzalez Byass 1955, Quinta Do Noval 1960, Cockburn’s 1963, Borges Alto Douro 1963, Taylor’s 1975, Niepoort 1978, Warre’s 1979 and a number of late bottled vintages and other ports. There is a 1960’s Fine Madeira, a Chateau d’Yquem 1963, a 1983 Tokaji Aszu 5 Puttonyos, Cavendish Cape 1975 Red Muscadel, some My Wyn Amber 2011, Late harvest and more

Champagne & Sparkling Wines: A smaller section this time but with quality vintage brands once again like Krug, Taittinger, Cristal, Perrier Jouet, Dom Perignon and more.

Wines: We have found a number of fine wines this time as well as the more week day and BBQ brands. There is a large entry for you to browse to look for your favourites this time. Amongst the highlights from France are some Chateau Latour 1956 & 1965, Ch. Palmer 1965, Ch. Malescot St Exupery 2009, Ch. Gruaud Larose 1962 & 2010, Ch. Giscours 2010, Ch. Grand Puy Lacoste 2010, Ch. Siaurac 2000, Ch. Rauzan-Gassies 2000 & Ch. Teyssier 2000. We also have some Chateauneuf-du-pape, a collection of Rioja, some Barolo, Chateau Musar, a selction of South African wines and more from around the world. A Rare private bottling of Oban 24 year old Single Barrel Malt Scotch Whisky, Distilled 23rd March 1989, bottled July 2013, Bottle No 213 of 258 with wooden box 47.8% 70cl. The Vendor has included a letter explaining the story behind this bottle. In short, Oban have only done 2 private bottlings, this one and one Presented to Princess Anne by the RLNI to commemorate the launching of the Oban Lifeboat. Diageo now own the distillery which is regarded as 1 of the 6 Classic Malts and it is thought that this will not be repeated
