Autograph Album, probably once the property of Rana Taggart, soprano vocalist, featuring the autographs of some well known 19th./20thC.composers and soloists who have frequently supplemented their signatures with musical notation and verse or prose. Celebrities and soloists included are Humperdinck, Fanny Davies, Joachim, Steinbach, German and Nellie Melba. There are other signtaures which are as yet indistinct. The album also includes some accomplished sketches and water colours together with loose period photgraphs. Together with one other smaller album containig the autograph of Eddie Calvert & others.

Prisoner of War WW2 Archive. A collection of documents & photos relating to Robert William Chaston, an RAF Pilot Officer whose bomber aircraft was shot down over Germany 23.8.43. He was then held as a Prisoner of War. The archive includes a 'scrap book/album' compiled by his parents during his imprisonment which features official correspondence relating to the loss of his aircraft and his eventual capture, Red Cross letters, official POW correspondence, photos of aircrew and colleagues. Also included is a contemporary map indicating the location of POW camps in Germany.
