Medieval Manorial Compoti, C.1450. A collection of six compoti vellum rolls, manuscript in black ink (some entries with decorative initial letters), which include references to the Manor Of Poynings, Sussex with the demesne land Perching (now represented by Perching Hill in the Parish of Edburton) nearby. The Farmer of the Manor was John Yong and the dates of Michaelmas 1456 and 1457 are recorded. Crofts or enclosed fields are referred to and there is also reference to landholders from London including the Warden of the Hospital of the Lord near Aldersgate in the City of London and the Prior of Lewes. Please be aware that It has been noted that the above items may contain manorial documents which are subject to the Manorial Documents Rules 1959, 1963 and 1967, administered by The Historical Manuscripts Commission at The National Archives on behalf of the Master of the Rolls. Accordingly the purchasers of the documents lie under an obligation to notify the Secretary of the Commission of their acquisition and to provide details of where they will be kept. They may in no circumstances be removed from England and Wales without the prior consent of the Master of the Rolls.

A large portfolio containing the original plans, improvements and drawings for the construction and design of the House and Gardens of Latimer house situated in Latimer, Buckinghamshire designed by Edward Blore , Samuel Ware and the brothers Jearrad , dating from the 1820s. The portfolio contains detailed plans of various floors including references to: The Servants Rooms and hall, Cook's room, Larder, Scullery, Butler's Room and Pantry etc. also included in this lot are two later period coloured plans/maps of the Latimer estate, likely from the early 20th century providing an insight into the architectural ideas and practice of the Regency period and the social structure of this era.
