Auction Insight
Locke & England, Auctioneers & Valuers of Leamington Spa are again inviting groups and associations to visit the auction centre for a series of entertaining evening talks and private viewings in the saleroom.
The evening opens at 6.15pm for 6.30pm start and runs for no more than two hours. We do need minimum of 30 people (max 50 total) to help make for a successful evening.
The evening will comprise:
Refreshments
Refreshments on arrival with a choice of red or white wine or fruit juice
Introduction
A very brief introduction to the history of Locke & England and the evening format.
The valuation competition
This is a fairly light-hearted tour around our saleroom, inspecting the lots on view from our forthcoming Selected Antiques & Collectors Items sale.
Guests will be asked to give their opinion of value on arrange of items from antique furniture, paintings, silverware, ceramics through to collectables and many other interesting items which are in the forthcoming auction.
Scoring
On completion of your estimates, cheese & biscuits and drinks will be served whilst we mark the competition and discuss some of the items in the sale. There will be a prize for the winner with the most points!
Questions & answer session
The evening will conclude with the opportunity for a short question and answer session with our team
